Trong khuôn viên trường có nhiều nhà hàng, quán cà phê, cửa hàng đồ ăn nhanh.. các món ăn từ Âu đến Á cũng được phục vụ như Sushi, Pizza, Starbucks, thịt nước,.... Trường đào tạo riêng về du lịch khách sạn có phòng ăn Highwood nổi tiếng, hay trung tâm 4 Nines... Giống như một khu phố ẩm thực thu nhỏ sinh viên có thể ở trong khuôn viên trường cả ngày để đến thư viện hoặc học nhóm cùng bạn bè mà không cần phải lo đến các bữa ăn. Truyền thống thể thao lâu đời cùng nhiều hoạt động phong phú tăng cường thể lực cho học sinh lựa chọn như: bóng đá, bóng rổ, khúc côn cầu, điền kinh,…cùng nhiều CLB sinh viên có thể tham gia

Cơ sở chính của SAIT nằm trên 16 Avenue NW, nhìn ra trung tâm thành phố Calgary và được phục vụ bởi hệ thống đường sắt hạng nhẹ CTrain. SAIT có ba cơ sở khác đặt tại Calgary:

Entrance Awards

Entrance awards are designated for students who are beginning a new program in the upcoming fall. In some instances, they are program-specific and in others, students in all programs may apply.

Please note that you must be registered for your classes before completing all the application sections.

Bissett Bursary Program

The Bissett Bursary Program will cover tuition and mandatory fees for recipients while they attend SAIT (Universal Transit Pass, Student Association and SAIT Athletics memberships, and Student Health and Dental Coverage).

Once enrolled, SAIT will connect these students with academic coaches and mentors to support their academic success. Students' progress is monitored throughout the duration of their program. Students who maintain their grades through their first year of studies will be eligible for funding for the second year of their studies.

Award categories

SAIT offers more than 4,300 awards to our students. Most awards fall under one of these four categories:

  • Entrance: Entrance awards are for students who are beginning a program. Some awards are for students in a specific program and others are open to students in any program. Entrance awards are available for students starting in Fall, Winter, or Spring.  
  • General: Awards that are not linked to a specific academic school are called general awards. In most cases, any student in any program who completes the online application will be considered if they meet the criteria.
  • School-specific: These awards are designated to a specific SAIT academic school and program(s). They take the form of bursaries, scholarships, or prizes.
  • Government funded: These awards are issued directly by the Alberta government and details can be found by visiting studentaid.alberta.ca.

Develop a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals you’ll need to succeed in management positions or gain the foundational skills to start your bookkeeping or accounting career. You will obtain practical knowledge of fundamental accounting processes, including income statements and balance sheets, accounts receivable and accounts payable, fixed assets and depreciation, and more, from instructors with professional accounting experience.

Administrative Information Management

Learn to set the bar in office software, productivity, organizing information and solving problems to help businesses run smoothly. Become the backbone of a business with the Administrative Information Management (AIM) diploma. This two-year program has unique benefits and is becoming a preferred credential for employers hiring administrative professionals.

Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Technology

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Technology program offers the student the knowledge and skills required to enter a career as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. Once employed in the aviation industry, students may work toward the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer “M” (AME) license. An Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Engineer is responsible for the servicing and repair of aircraft and aircraft components.

Aircraft Structures Technician

Study for a career as an aircraft repair or structures technician, leading up to your Aircraft Maintenance Engineer license, through this program that teaches the modification and repair of aircraft, helicopters and their structural components. The Aircraft Structures Technician program offers the student the knowledge and skills required to enter a career to become an aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) “S”. As an “S” licensed aircraft maintenance engineer, you will be responsible for the manufacture and repair of aircraft and aircraft components.

Architectural Technologies

Gain the knowledge and critical thinking skills you need to work as an architectural technologist for architectural firms, residential builders, and various companies involved in the construction industry. Architectural technologists are involved in all stages of building design and construction. Through project-based learning that simulates and simplifies work practices, you’ll gain experience in a supportive, learner-focused environment. You’ll develop essential skills in a setting that’s modelled on real-world workplaces so you can hit the ground running when you graduate.

Automotive Service Technology

Get hands-on automotive training in our two-year diploma and prepare for your apprenticeship as an Automotive Service Technician. You’ll be taught by industry-trained instructors who will combine theory and hands-on learning opportunities so you gain a strong foundation in automotive vehicle maintenance, diagnosis, repairs, manufacturers’ specifications, customer service and communications. If you complete this program successfully, you will be eligible to challenge the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training (AIT) Automotive Service Technician Periods 1-4 exams.

Avionics Technology

Start your career as an aircraft avionics technician by learning to repair and maintain the electrical and electronic systems — including communication, navigation and data systems — in all types of airplanes and helicopters. The Avionics Technology program offers the student the knowledge and skills required to start a career as an aircraft maintenance engineer (AME) “E”. As an “E” licensed AME, you will be responsible for the servicing and repair of aircraft electrical and electronic systems. An “E” licensed aircraft maintenance engineer will maintain and repair the aircraft communication, navigation and data systems. The Avionic Technology program covers all the aspects of aircraft avionics systems used in general aviation, corporate, charter, transport category aircraft, and helicopters.

Gain the skills and knowledge to take your career to the next level with data analytics. Become a valued member of any business by using data to align the business decision-making process with storytelling and insight. The Data Analytics post-diploma certificate program will focus on predictive analytics, which uses statistical models and forecasting to understand possible future scenarios, as well as prescriptive analytics, which uses optimization and simulation to produce recommendations on possible outcomes.

Cyber Security for Control Systems + Management and Leadership

Develop your understanding of cyber security and control, while developing your management and leadership skills to become an effective leader. Available to international students only, applicants can apply for two consecutive programs at the same time, to create a two-year bundle.

Cyber Security for Control Systems

The Cyber Security for Control Systems post-diploma certificate program addresses the business risks specific to securing control systems in sectors such as drilling and well sites, power plants, power grid, water plants, manufacturing, production lines, telecommunications, and hospitals. Many of these systems were previously analog-based, but are currently networked and digital, placing them at greater risk for cyber-attacks. Many of the concepts will be similar to those used to secure information in technology systems, but the training will focus on the specific constraints of securing control systems in the industrial environment.

Culinary Arts

Considered the best in Canada, the Culinary Arts program, (previously Professional Cooking) is delivered by world-renowned chefs who provide expert, hands-on training. In just two short years you will have the opportunity to train and interact with 20 leading culinary professionals - an amazing experience for anyone passionate about the culinary arts.

Civil Engineering Technology

Gain the skills to design, draft, cost and manage the construction of buildings, roads, bridges, and other infrastructure projects. Become a civil engineering design and construction professional through our hands-on learning approach that combines theoretical training, advanced technology and applied learning. You’ll gain knowledge on building science and the building process; this entails engineering, drafting both 2D and 3D, construction management, virtual and augmented technology, structural design, geotechnical engineering, construction management principles, including estimating and project scheduling.

Chemical Laboratory Technology

Get hands-on with the basics of chemistry to begin your career as a chemical, laboratory or research technologist in a number of industries, from petroleum and natural gas to environmental consulting. In the Chemical Laboratory Technology program, you’ll learn the fundamentals of chemistry and get hands-on experience using analytical instrumentation to analyze laboratory samples. The English Language Foundations (ELF) program provides English language upgrading for learners whose first language is not English. Students are placed into the program based on demonstrated proficiency in English, using the Canadian Language Benchmarks Assessment (CLBA) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) examination. This first A+ course in the series will give you a well-rounded knowledge of PC hardware from gaming cases to liquid cooling systems, introduction to desktop support, and peripherals. Students will be introduced to IT customer service, computer safety, ticketing system and asset management implementations. This course will also introduce learners to basic Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Chrome OS concepts to support the CompTIA A+ certification.

CMPH 003 - A+ In Depth - Networking and Security

This third A+ course in the series will teach you about networking, wireless, IoT, printers and network security concepts. You'll focus on core networking concepts and best security practices in a threat-saturated landscape. You will leave the course able to manage, secure, support and troubleshoot endpoint and intermediary devices to create a secure network.

CMPH 002 - A+ In Depth - Operating Systems

This second A+ course in the series will prepare you to install, manage and configure brand new OS installations of Windows desktop operating systems. An overview of Linux, MacOS and Windows Server operating systems is also a part of this course. Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Technology

The Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Technology program offers the student the knowledge and skills required to enter a career as an Aircraft Maintenance Technician. Once employed in the aviation industry, students may work toward the Aircraft Maintenance Engineer “M” (AME) license. An Aircraft Maintenance Technician/Engineer is responsible for the servicing and repair of aircraft and aircraft components.

Welding and Fabrication Technology

In this diploma program, you’ll gain welding and fabrication knowledge to allow you to interpret drawings, standards and specifications as well as an overview of welding codes. You’ll learn about welding fabrication procedures while using current and emerging technologies.

Welding Engineering Technology

Combining hands-on instruction and theory, develop your skills and knowledge in structural steel design, fabrication, welding and metallurgy in preparation for a career as a welding specialist or quality control and inspection officer. The Welding Engineering Technology program offers two years of hands-on education. The first year focuses on academic fundamentals and structural steel design and fabrication.

CMPH 001 - A+ In Depth - Hardware and Peripherals

This first A+ course in the series will give you a well-rounded knowledge of PC hardware from gaming cases to liquid cooling systems, introduction to desktop support, and peripherals. Students will be introduced to IT customer service, computer safety, ticketing system and asset management implementations. This course will also introduce learners to basic Windows, Linux, MacOS, and Chrome OS concepts to support the CompTIA A+ certification.

CMPH 003 - A+ In Depth - Networking and Security

This third A+ course in the series will teach you about networking, wireless, IoT, printers and network security concepts. You'll focus on core networking concepts and best security practices in a threat-saturated landscape. You will leave the course able to manage, secure, support and troubleshoot endpoint and intermediary devices to create a secure network.

CMPH 002 - A+ In Depth - Operating Systems

This second A+ course in the series will prepare you to install, manage and configure brand new OS installations of Windows desktop operating systems. An overview of Linux, MacOS and Windows Server operating systems is also a part of this course. You'll explore other topics including client-side virtualization, an introduction to Active Directory, Windows native volume, file and folder encryption.

Respiratory Therapy is a diverse and specialized profession that assists physicians in diagnosing, treating and managing patients by providing such services as cardiopulmonary resuscitation, ventilator management, oxygen and aerosol therapy, patient assessment and evaluation, and diagnostic services including pulmonary function testing and blood analysis.
